In a joint effort with UMCG, University of Groningen and several international partners, PureIMS is actively battling the COVID-19 pandemic by repurposing hydroxychloroquine for pulmonary administration. A first in man trial with Hydroxychloroquine Cyclops™ is in preparation. Nevertheless, it will take months if not longer before this product will become available, if proven effective.
